This is a classical tutu I created from scratch to fit Kara from Dance Repertory Theatre.It includes 12 layers of hand-pleated & hand-dyed tulle, 15 bones (spiral & steel) in an extremely fitted bodice, and my first and possibly only experience with panty ruffles.
It was used in 12 performances with the Austin Symphony Orchestra for the Young Peoples Concerts reaching around 28,000 students.
